Brooke Taylor
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #137385
Supervised By Melissa Klass #119163
Hi! I’m Brooke.
I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a passion for supporting people through the tender and transformative moments of life. I specialize in relational trauma work and help teens, adults, and couples navigate transitions, loss, self-esteem challenges, and existential questions with care and compassion.
My therapeutic style is collaborative, holistic, and grounded in curiosity. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore what it means to be yourself—at your own pace. I believe healing begins within us and naturally ripples outward into our relationships and communities.
Outside of therapy, I recharge in nature, spend time with loved ones, and hang out with my cat—who I like to think of as my co-therapist in spirit.
If you’re seeking a therapist who will meet you where you are and walk alongside you with warmth and honesty, I’d be honored to connect.
My background & approach
I’m trained in EMDR through the Center for Creative Mindfulness and have completed intensive trauma training at the Southern California Counseling Center. I also hold specialized training in Gestalt therapy from the Pacific Gestalt Institute, which shapes my work with present-moment awareness, relational depth, and embodied experience. I integrate these trauma-informed approaches with mindfulness, somatic work, creative expression, and psychoeducation to help you better understand your nervous system and build resilience.
My approach is anti-oppressive, culturally responsive, sex-positive, and neurodivergent-affirming. Whether you’re moving through a major life change, struggling with self-image, or healing from past relationships, I’m here to support you with empathy and respect.
